Poem: SING FOR JOY
Lord I sing to you, with such joy in my heart!
I lift my voice up to you my praises I do impart!
Let not my cares bring me down, but let my heart hear the song,
Of the melody of trusting you, a safe place where I belong.
May I always sing with joy, all the days that I do live,
remembering to share a tune or so for one who has none to give.
And Lord, at the end of the day, when the sun begins to set,
sing back the sweet words to me, if the song in my heart I forget.
