The majolica technique is applied on red terra-cotta clay to produce a product that is rich and vibrant in color. It is a technique of glazing and firing that causes gases to be released and results in characteristic lines and dots. Each piece involves this tedious process and can take many days or sometimes weeks to produce.
This vibrant Texan artisan considers her ideas and art an adventure. Her passion is revealed in each piece she creates and you can see it with her use of vibrant color as well as her unique use of glazes. It is her desire that by sharing her passion for clay, her pottery art brings pleasure, joy or comfort to those who possess it.
