Room Blessings have a space to keep a prayer scroll or special note in the back. These can be hung on a wall, above a bed, door frame or wherever a special reminder or blessing is appropriate.
Room blessings have been adapted from the wonderful tradition of Mezuzahs (and Mezuzah covers), in which a blessing is placed on each doorpost and gate of a home. While the traditional Jewish Mezuzah requires a small parchment inscribed with specific prayers, our piece serves as a reminder of our many blessings.
